Moto E promises to be slimmer and cheaper

Amidst all the rumors of Motorola’s new flagship X + 1, PhoneArena came up with the leaked specs of Motorola’s upcoming budget android smartphone – Moto E.

Before talking more about Moto E, its price and availability, lets first check out its leaked specifications:

  • 4.3 inch screen (can be sub 720p, as the box doesn’t mention an HD screen)
  • 3G capable
  • 5MP AF camera
  • 1.2 Ghz dual core processor
  • 1900 mAh battery life
  • Dual Sim Capability
  • 1GB RAM + 4GB Internal Memory (no mention about the expandable memory yet).
  • The best thing is 6.2 mm thickness (which means it would be very sleek).

Leaked Specifications of Motorola's Moto E

Moto E is expected to release in Mexico first, thanks to the overwhelming demand of budget android smartphones there. It would be priced at around $230 (off contract).

Now, Moto E promises to be cheaper and slimmer than Moto G. But we will have to see if it actually performs better than Moto G, which has set very high standards in budget android segment.

The sub 720p screen and dual core processor disappoint a bit, but its razor sharp looks can surely fetch it a lot of customers. However, given its weak specifications, we expect it to be way cheaper than Moto G.
